Derbyshire police has produced a guide to the most common scams and how to avoid becoming a victim of them.

It contains information and advice on identity fraud, postal scams, investment fraud, door-step scammers and fraud involving mobile phones and the internet.

The guide also offers tips on how to avoid becoming a victim.

The guide, created in conjunction with Metropolitan Police Service, is available to download from the force website www.derbyshire.police.uk
